Halloween 2011!

Catch Up!!
Holy Moses how time flies!
As it turns out, Magnus the Man is now 13 months old and growing like a weed! Most people guess him to be at least 18 months old. Ah....that's my boy! We celebrated his first birthday with Grandma and Grandpa Berg, Grandma and Grandpa Gilmer, and friends Allen and Julie Esparza. We had a Luau themed day: toys, fun foods, cake, great tunes, the whole she'bang!
At Magnus's 12 month appointment, he was 26 lbs. and 31 inches. He's walking and running and has been doing so since Easter Day! He managed to crawl up out of his crib only to fall to the floor. He was stunned, but it was all good. He LOVES to play in the water and tease his doggies with treats and toys.He can now say the following: Doggies, Daddy, Mommy, baby, papa, nana (banana), aye (ice), cheese, juice, bubb-oh (bubbles), ball, bee ball (beach ball), dat (that), oh-oh badee-doh (oh-oh spaghetti-o's), and, all done.
Classic!!!
We just returned from a 5-day trip to Scottsdale, AZ with Grandma and Grandpa Buffham and Uncle Dylan and Auntie Haley. It was an awesome time and we lounged in the pool pretty much the entire time. Man, I want this tan to last forever! One day, Josh and I rented mountain bikes and went mountain biking. Can I just say that was the scariest thing I've EVER done and probably THE hardest workout I've ever had. The terrain was inSANE, there were cactus right off the pathways and the sun was punchin' out a good 100 degrees. I would do it again in a heartbeat, it was such an amazing challenge physically and mentally for me. That adrenaline rush can't be beat!
I've officially wrapped the film, "Beautiful Brit Baker," and that was also an amazing experience I will never forget. We became wonderful friends with the director and his wife as well as their friends. So now we don't feel so lonely here! Allen, the director, and myself are starting a small production company so we can produce (and I can STAR) in our own work! I'm pretty sure we're set on the company name, Two-Thirteen Productions. It was February (the second month of the year), and the thirteenth was the day Allen and I met. That's when I auditioned for BBB. I've got a short film in the works that will shoot in Sept. I'm also volunteering at the on base gym teaching spinning. LOVE IT! It's what finally pushed me to get my Personal Training Certificate. I'm waiting on my financial assistance through a military program and then I'll get started!Josh is away for a month for training - BOO. But he's getting anxious for his time to move on to other things once he's finished with the military. He's going to use his GI Bill to get his MBA and he's looking in Southern California to do so. I'm cool with that!!
We just ripped out the carpet in our downstairs and put in wood flooring. This place feels SO much cleaner and it looks great!! Who likes to eat on carpet? Nasty. Our carpet had become embarrassing, so, we did something about it! Installed it ourselves!

Almost Summer!
Can hardly believe we're already coming up on Memorial Day Weekend. We're super stoked because we've been invited by some new and wonderful friends to go camping with them in Packwood. Josh and I have actually become really good friends with the director of the upcoming film I'm shooting this summer. They were kind enough to let Donut Junkie serve up our delicious donuts at their beautiful wedding and now we're spending the weekend with them and some of their friends and family. Great and generous people.
My Tulalip Casino commercial is finally airing and yes, I look like one of those dorks on all the other casino commercials you see. Puttin' my hands in the air as I fake a win at a slot machine. It was fun nonetheless and I'm hoping some of the shots they took are out there....billboard, airline magazine, maybe?
Magnus is coming up on one year already and he's blowing our minds everyday. He's walking now. WALKING. He took his first steps at Easter and hasn't stopped since. So I will officially brag and mention, "My kid started walking at 10 months."
Mother's Day was wonderful and being my birthday fell on a Thursday, Josh and I spent the night out by our fire with wine and awesome conversation. It was simply perfect. I do expect to taken out dancing however. More like, clubbin'. We haven't done that in so long and I'm itchin' to go. We'll be the old creepy couple out there, but like I care.
Here are some recent pictures for you to enjoy. The 6th Episode of Army Wife is shortly on it's way and it features, who else, Magnus!

Josh's 32nd Birthday Weekend!
For a while now some good friends of ours have offered to watch Magnus overnight so we could have a night all to ourselves, so we finally took them up on the offer and went out for Josh's 32nd Birthday! Saturday night we had a few cocktails and some delicious tapas at Water Street Cafe. Then we headed to Fish Tail Brewery and tasted some of their tasty beer. The plan was to walk the streets of Olympia with the list of hot spots I had generated several days before, but we just couldn't seem to stay up all that very long. We were leaving by 9PM, but we swung by DQ for a double cheeseburger and Blizzard before heading home! In bed by 9:45 baby! That's how these geezers roll these days!
In other news, Magnus had his 9 month appointment the other day and here's how he measured up:
Weight: 22.5 lb (85th percentile)
Height: 29.5 in. (88th percentile)
He's healthy and crawling around like a fool, pulling himself up on everything and clapping his hands and waving! He's such a great boy, we're enjoying our time with him so very, very much.
Here are a couple of pics from the weekend!

Magnus = 6th Months
Yikes! It's true, though. Prince Magnus is over 6 months old now and here's how his well-child appointment went:
Weight: 18 lb. 15 oz
Height: 26 1/2 "
He had three shots in his massive gams and he swallowed another vaccine like a champ. He even reached out to put it in his mouth!
He's saying, "Daa, daa, daa" these days and he sings beautifully. He really wants to get crawling but he gets to his stomach and doesn't quite know what to do from there! Then he gets pissed. LOL
Here are the most recent pictures of the little guy. He's so adorable and were just absolutely in love with him.
