My Doc rules!

Indeed it's true. I met my OB Doc today and I'm very excited to be working with her. She's smart, funny and a former fat kid, too!

In other news, we've got another pug! Jack. He's a keeper! (Unlike our last attempt with Lae Ling).

More updates later!

This is how it goes...

We've finally arrived in Washington after a wonderful, relaxed trip North through California's wine country and into Oregon to visit Josh's Mom and Sister's Family.  We've set up camp in a small area called University Place.  Right off the Sound near the Narrows Bridge.

Mt. Rainier catches us off-guard when we're out and about and it's so beautiful it seems fake.  We've got a walk out apartment in a cool complex.  We're constantly scouring the houses for sale so when the time's right, we'll have a great idea of what exactly we want.

Everything (well most everything) from LA arrived, and our two shipments from Korea as well.  Cable is set up and we were rollin' except for one thing...

Josh ended up having to get an emergency appendectomy yesterday for a ruptured appendix.  They were hoping he'd be able to leave the hospital today but his progress is slow to zilch so they're keeping him at least another night, possibly more.  He still can't keep food down and when they put him under during surgery, his intestine sorta quit working so they've got a tube going through his nose into his stomach to try and wake it up.  Because of the rupture, there was an infection in his abdomen so he's on antibiotics as well.

I will keep everyone updated as he progresses.  I'd suggest giving him a call in a week or so.  At this moment, he can't talk without pain so he just needs to relax.

Feel free to shoot me an e-mail or call if you want me to pass anything on to J.

Love you all!!

Our final leg

Just a quick update to let you all know that we've successfully cleared our apartment!  Josh and I are now staying at the hotel on the military base until the 10th of March when we fly to Los Angeles.  Chloe is staying at our friend Sam's place.  She's an awesome babysitter and she has a dog that is in love with Chloe.  Hard to believe we're out-processing already.

That's it for now!  (I said it would be short).  Can't wait to get home!

Whoah Mamma!

If anyone is counting (although I think it's just Josh and I) we're at 35 days now before we head back to the states.  It's a bit weird to think he's been here nearly two years already.  I remember the day he flew out of LA.  The mere mention of his name brought me to tears.  (My Dad will attest).  My roommate at the time thought it would be a good idea to cheer me up by submerging ourselves in a night of improv comedy.  Kudos Josh Carson!  It was great!  'Course after, we had a couple beers (pitchers) and drowned our sorrows.  LOL.  Well, you all know how this turns out, I get sick of LA (for the second time) and drag my dog through 13 hours in the underbelly of a plane along with the luggage, to set up camp in Korea for a year and a half.

Here we are nearing the end of this road and so many cool things to look back on.  Here are the top 5 lessons we've learned:

5.  Don't leave any fan unattended; it will kill you.  Fan death is a serious (I'm not even joking) concern here.
4.  Don't ever buy your significant other matching sweatshirts.  It just does not look cool.
3.  The next time you're doting on your cute dog, remind yourself that some people like to eat them.
2.  Don't eat food that has been fermenting in the ground for several months.
1.  If you ever want to visit the far East, stick to A) Cambodia and/or B) Thailand.  Avoid Korea.

AWE SNAP!  Sorry.  That was so harsh!!!  We loved it but in all honesty, we're ready to come home.

Love you all so very much.  Though we've missed out on wonderful occurrences overseas, we're always thinking of you.

Love,
Molly, Josh and Blow-Torch (That's my new nickname for Chloe)
